I’ve never been into using other people’s stuff, specially without asking, but this time the temptation was too high. I switched it on and went directly to the low keys… PPHHMMMMMMMM… I was blown away by this sound and my imagination was already placing me in a dark hot dancefloor dancing to it… In the next hours I did the recordings for the first sketch of ‘Canivalon’, later on, Gary came up from bed and told me he just had the most psychedelic nap of his life… Low frequencies coming and going in and out of his dreams making the bed vibrate, voices flying around in a mantric fashion, and some kind of sweet piano keys appearing every now and then… It was a great nap he said.” —from Rebolledo’s notes to the Super Vato album.

We sure do. It’s 6 feet long and 1 CD tall plus one bin full of LPs, 7”s, cassettes, DVD’s and Free Pizza Books. It never showers, and it is a cutie pie.
Music does not influence research work, but both are nourished by the same sort of longing, and they complement each other in the release they offer.
